This longitudinal study evaluates the impact of transitioning from processed "heat and serve" vendor meals to medically tailored, "scratch-made" whole foods for homebound older adults in Salem County, aiming to prove the cost-effectiveness of a food-is-medicine approach in reducing diet-related health disparities.
